Oh Ne, I can hardly wait til you're home with those precious boys!

Do the nurses always hover like that?

That has to be intimidating with everyone watching you. Hopefully you will be home soon.

They are precious. It doesn't surprise me at all that the nurses were hovering; very typical central/eastern european, I think. I'm thrilled the nurses are there because you two radiate Jesus and His love will flow out of you into them and they will never be the same as a result of you having been there, loved on these boys and showed them God's unconditional love! What a precious gift that they too are being impacted in very significant, Kingdom ways by being there as 'hover-ers'! :-)

Arden,
That is so true! Praying they are all captured by the Love of Jesus that Renee and Derek carry so beautifully!

I just have been catching up on all of your posts from your trip. I am particularly struck by Ethan. I just want to encourage you on how much a difference nutrition and gaining weight makes with a failure to thrive kid (that is such an awful title anyway). I have personally witnessed and heard many stories at the feeding clinic that we have been treating our Josiah at. Many underweight kids have come in very underdeveloped and slapped with such horrible diagnosis and then someone takes the time to really work on their feeding and suddenly they start developing. I would be more than happy to help nurse this little guy to health. I feel like when it comes to feeding, I have read everything there is to read!! Do you know why he is so underweight? Is it due to his feeding or the way his body digests food? I would love to hear more about him. Praying for you.
Blessings,
Shari

I forgot to answer those of you who were wondering if there are nurses hovering over us the entire time we are with the boys or not. No, there are not. But,
there is a video camera on us at all times though. You kind of get used to it after awhile but we sure can't wait to get home and play with our boys freely!!!
