Safe Arrival!

Derek made it safely to Poland at 2:45AM K.C. time. He said he slept a good amount of time on the plane and read a lot in one of his John Piper books. At about 7AM our time, he took a 3 1/2 hour train ride to Kielce Poland, where he is ministering at right now. He gets on another train Sunday and travels for 14 hours on the train to get to Novograd where our boys are. Thanks to all of you who are keeping him in your prayers!

Great to hear this! Do you all know that you should REALLY drink a LOT of water and eat yogurt before you head overseas for a trip? This should start about 3 days before you travel. I realize it is too late for Derek, but the rest of you can prepare your bodies before you take off. Anyway, praying....wow, do I remember that 14 hour train ride into Ukraine! Blessings on all of you! Will you have the same phone number there you had a month ago when I called you?

Hi Arden,

Thanks for the great tip. We knew about the water part. We ate lots of yogurt in Ukraine but will try to eat more before I leave. I'm a yogurt lover so this isn't hard for me :). Yes, Derek has the same phone number as the one you called on before.

Blessings and hugs!
